Apologies to all, this is our least useful page at the moment, we are still investigating the accessibility aspect of many of these activities.
Official information is rarely available and so we will have to rely on visits by ourselves, friends and guests.
Do please ask us if you want more information on any of the following activities.
We hope to put more meat on the bones soon!
LEISURE LAKES/SPORTS/ACTIVITIES
Rouffiac

You can’t find a great deal of information about this popular leisure lake on
the internet, which is a shame.
You can walk all the way round the lake and I believe there are no obstructions
preventing wheelchair access.
Watersports, horse-riding, fishing, archery and walking are amongst its
activities.
St Yrieix

A restaurant overlooks the lake, which can be very busy at lunch times in peak
season.
It is open Sunday, closed Tuesday evening and Wednesdays.
Bussière-Galant
Velorail as well as the lake.
Golf
There are other courses in the Dordogne and Limousin, but these are the
closest.
“De la Prèze” is over 90 minutes away but
is probably the best of the courses.
I have played Excideuil, Périgueux and "de la Prèze". Badly.

VINEYARDS
Our nearest vineyards are just over an hour’s drive away, towards Bergerac.
If you are interested in visiting one or more (particularly if you have
accessibility issues), it would be advisable to plan ahead.
We would like to build up a list of vineyards, so any feedback after your visit
would be most helpful.
